Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups all purpose flour


  • 1 cups milk


  • 2 nos beetroot


  • 2 tsp cocoa powder


  • 2 tsp sugar


  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • 2 tsp oil


  • 2 tsp baking powder


  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  • 2 tsp strawberry syrup for topping

Directions

  • Peel and cut beetroot in cubes
  • Boil with very less water
  • Take a bowl,add maida,salt and sugar,whisk well.
  • Now add coco powder and mix it.
  • Make puree of beetroot with little milk.
  • Add this puree to the flour.
  • Add remaining milk,oil and baking powder.
  • Whisk well and give rest for 10 minutes.
  • Now heat a nonstic pan and then switch off the flame.
  • After 5 minutes agsin switch on the flame to medium.
  • Now make pancakes of the dedired shapes.
  • Before serving top up pancakes with strawberry syrup.
  • Enjoy these yummy cakes.
